Reeder is your all-in-one inbox for reading, watching and listening to content from various sources.
From Unread Counts to Timeline Syncing
Say goodbye to unread counts! With Reeder, your timeline position is synced across all your devices, letting you pick up right where you left off.
Shared Feeds
Turn any tag into a public, auto-updating feed that can be viewed in any browser or added to any RSS reader that supports JSON feeds, making it simple to share your curated content.
Unified Timeline
Reeder supports more than just RSS feeds. It integrates videos, podcasts and social media posts into a single, streamlined view. While it’s not meant to replace full-featured clients, Reeder offers a centralized way to keep track of everything you follow, with the option to open content in other apps (if supported) when you want to dive deeper.
Filters
Create custom timelines with filters based on keywords, media types or feed types.
Save and Organize Links
Easily save links from Safari or any other app to Reeder using its share extension, keeping everything organized and easy to find.
iCloud Sync
Reeder only syncs what’s important — your subscriptions, timeline position and tagged items (including Links, Favorites, Bookmarks and Later) — across all your devices using iCloud, making syncing faster and more efficient, with changes pushed to your other devices within seconds. Content is fetched directly from the sources, ensuring you always have the latest updates.

An excellent reinterpretation of what an RSS reader should be
CHdover
It took me a while to warm up to the approach taken by the new version of Reader as it seemed to turn everything I was comfortable with in the older Reeder on its head. After a couple of forays back and forth between the two versions I have finally settled on the new approach. After I few months with the new version I still have to remember that the letter K has now replaced J as the prime navigation key, and I still finding myself reflexively hitting the letter L (later) rather than J when I want to return to an article previously viewed. That aside, I’m getting to really like the new approach. One small niggle: can we please have a keyboard shortcut ro select reader view?
Feed Glitches Under Tahoe
Trebuchets
I love what has now become Reeder Classic with read counts rather than the new Reeder’s timeline. However, Reeder Classic looks now to be abandoned. Hence, downloading the new Reeder. I could probably get used to not having read counts any more due to the otherwise great design of the app except for one thing. It’s really not compatible with macOS Tahoe 26. I have to constantly reload or quit and restart the app for it to show all the feeds. They keep disappearing making it entirely frustrating to use. The app works fine on the iPad with iOS 26, but not on the Mac. This has been going on for the past two weeks that I have been trying to use the app and why the developer has not addressed this is beyond me. Other readers (ReadKit, News Explorer, etc.) have no such problem with Tahoe. I really don’t want to switch apps, but I will not subscribe to an RSS reader that can’t display feeds properly. So, where is the love for this app from the developer? And, their commitment to their customers?
Pretty nice, needs a few options
DownAndGoing
I was initially skeptical, but I really like the idea of syncing scroll position instead of just going off of unread counts. That said, it wouldn’t hurt to see a count of unread stories from various feeds I’ve subscribed to. Overall, the app feels very polished, intuitive, and it works for me. I think a $10/yr subscription is quite reasonable, so I’ll happily pay when I run into the feed limit. The one place where the app could use some real improvements is in display options. The column of text using the built-in viewer is much narrower than I would like, but it doesn’t seem like there’s any way to change it. Also, article images in the list of stories are FAR too large for some feeds I subscribe to, and there are no options to constrain their size or placement. There are some other less important UI quirks, but nothing too serious.
Exactly what I have been looking for
ME
I’ve been trying a lot of read it later services and I just wanted an app that I could store links and stories in that would make it easy to organize and view them without being soloed or having unread notifications causing anxiety to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I love the home feed and the fact it syncs the position. There are some quirks in that sometimes the order of stories varies between devices. Overall though, it works pretty well. I love the new folders and the ability to add from so many sources. Keep up the great work. I am looking forward to what comes next.
IMPROVED
- Improved support for feeds containing videos
