Odio strikes a perfect balance between cutting-edge tech and futuristic art. The app employs a mesmerizing mix of spatial audio and head-tracked audio to conjure up its chill AR soundscapes, which can be everything from a rushing forest waterfall to a buzzy digital atmosphere. But you’re no passive listener in these realistic realms: You can manipulate every soundscape within the app through a clever system of sliders that help you reposition sonic elements—like a babbling river, dreamy whale song, or wash of digital static—around your head.

I used this app about 5 minutes before writing this review, I did the free trial instantly, putting my AirPods in I didn't know what to expect, I'm not one to download apps with minimal reviews. Though I'm so thankful I did, moving the sound of water back and fourth between each ear gave me goosebumps. All of my favorite songs do that bounce between earphone thing, and now I'm in control of it. This is a pretty enjoyable app, as the free version offers two playlists I think? Which for most normal people would be enough, but if you're someone who music and sounds effects very deeply I highly recommend. I'll be spending hours on this app. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have an okay pair of headphones. The only thing I was disappointed by was that the background image doesn't move with the manipulation of the sound like I assumed, but I understand this is pretty new and that could be something already in the works, who knows. But regardless I'm in love, thank you to the developers!

It’s wrong to call this an app. It’s really more of an experience purely of your own creation that you can edit or change whenever you want. Put in your ear pods and work those fingers on your touchscreen and see what happens. That sounds a bit hyped but just think about that for one second: Over and over and over again you can tweak sounds, and how they mix, for the rest of your life, by what suits YOU, just by using your fingers on your screen. You can create multiple compositions to fit whatever moods you might want to bring about, or manipulate sounds to fit how you might feel about whatever your situation is… You are the composer of your own personal 3-D spatial soundscape. And truly it is SO COOL 🤯 Try it and you’ll see. Meanwhile, I will be chilling while working & Odio will facilitate that in a big way…. Truly a great app that I will always keep with me.

I never felt compelled to write app reviews but this app left me so excited. The features along with the aesthetically pleasing design of the app is unmatched. I enjoy listening to ambient electronic and nature soundscapes and this app is perfect for that. It’s fully interactive, allowing you to adjust different audio effects/ambient sounds to your liking. (I somewhat feel like a dj without all of the synths and such.)The spatial audio feature I my favorite—it feels like I am in full control of my auditory surroundings. This makes it perfect to mask noise pollution and create your own dreamy soundscape. I am so excited about this apps’ potential! I hope it never leaves the App Store.

Playback is now more reliable when resuming, switching soundscapes, or returning after an interruption.
Head Tracking setup and recovery are clearer, while refined player controls and layouts make Odio feel more natural across iPhone and iPad.
This update also brings smoother soundstage interactions, improved onboarding and translations, and fixes throughout the app.
