Método de aprender inglés usando cartas/flashcards
Nuestra aplicación utiliza cartas de idiomas para estudio, y después de elegir el idioma que deseas aprender, comienzas a deslizar cartas con palabras extranjeras según si ya las conoces, lo que clasifica las cartas en paquetes.
Enseñanza de un idioma adivinando palabras
En el modo de aprendizaje, adivinas el significado de las palabras guardadas, que se revelan cuando haces clic en la carta. Las cartas adivinadas se guardan en "conocidos" y las adivinadas se mueven abajo de la baraja para que reaparezcan en breve. Con este mecanismo, puedes mejorarte de forma divertida y rápida en cualquier idioma extranjero. Nuestro algoritmo vigila cuando es bueno volver a ver las palabras.
Gracias al traductor integrado, puedes utilizar la aplicación para aprender la mayoría de idiomas extranjeros.

Barajas de palabras y tu progreso
Guarda nuevas palabras en su baraja, o por tú mismo o de barajas de palabras o artículos preparados por adelantano. Luego, puedes ver tu progreso en palabras extranjeras individuales.
Lectura de artículos en un idioma extranjero
La aplicación también tiene la posibilidad de lectura de artículos en un idioma extranjero, donde simplemente haces clic en palabras que no sabes para guardarlas y aprenderlas más tarde.

Resolved:I love this app but an important feature is broken

Edit: Issue was quickly resolved! 5 stars nowOn the whole this app is wonderful. It has many fantastic features and I always end up saving every word or phrase I learn on other apps onto this app because I like how Duocards does what it does so much. It’s really fantastic. Probably about 60% of the time I spend language learning is on this app and I have a ton of different methods so this app really dominates all the others. However an important feature for me is being able to sort the cards into different groups and that feature has just stopped working. The main way I learn is that I save nearly every new phrase or word I hear but I put the most important ones into a smaller deck and as I work through them then I add cards from my larger deck into my smaller deck. That way I can add as many cards as I want without worrying that I will have way too much to learn and have to wait weeks between seeing the card I just practiced again. But just today that feature has broken and pressing the button to add to custom decks is just plain does nothing. If they fix it then I will put my review up to five stars where it really belongs.

Best flashcard app I have ever used

I’ve tried AnkiPro, Quizlet, online resources, and many many more flashcard apps and websites. Every single one of them has their respective flaws, from high prices to TERRIBLE AI voices to cold and impersonal designs. DuoCards is the one platform that has it all. A design with interactive features (like taking care of a pet) that are optional and inconsequential, which is a nice touch. Everything is interest driven and self supported, which is ideal for those of us that are tired of a specific cartoon owl. The design is super intuitive and helpful, and it’s really easy to use. Also, the feature where you can highlight any word anywhere and import it into the app is a CRAZY feature that expands learning so much. The pricing is pretty high and as of right now I do not use premium because I can’t pay that much at the moment. That being said, the limited version is SUPER GREAT as well!!! Compared to the PRO VERSIONS of other platforms, the LIMITED VERSION of this app is miles better.

When all my words disappeared. The app asked me to log in. When I logged in, all my information returned. What a relief! I was sooo happy. I really love using this app as I believe this app is like no other. It lets you add the phrases that you want to learn. It lets you practice till you get it right. I can’t recommend this app enough. I recommend this app to everyone I meet as it has improved my vocabulary tremendously . It also gives you examples how the word is used in different sentences, which is great! I would like to thank the app creators for making such an amazing app.

TLDR: Incredible app! Repetition intervals are pretty absurd (2 days -> 2 weeks -> 2 months). App does crash, but it’s not a big deal just don’t click on the fire in the mammoth’s habitat.This app is soooo amazing! It’s got great built in abilities to review and find content in common and obscure languages alike! It really fills a gap that no other app or software I’ve found has filled when it comes to getting exposure to media in your language of choice.When it comes to learning languages this app kicks Anki’s booty, but I have to take away one star because it lacks the ability to change the intervals between seeing cards again. Be warned when you review a card after the 2 day interval it jumps straight to 2 weeks and then 2 months which in my opinion is a big oof… especially if you are learning a language with some wacky spelling like English or Norwegian.Also, the app does consistently break if you open the little rewards screen that shows what the next reward is for being active on the app. (You probably won’t ever even find this screen if you aren’t looking for it though, so it’s not a big deal) All you have to do is close and reopen the app which takes 2 seconds and really isn’t as big of a deal.
