Quick take: Last season, Galatasaray secured their 26th Turkish league title and fourth consecutive championship after a remarkably consistent season despite strong pressure from Fenerbahçe who were runners-up for the fifth year in a row. Trabzonspor’s Paul Onuachu became the top scorer with 22 league goals. Relegated Antalyaspor, Kayserispor and Fatih Karamgümrük were replaced by the returning Erzurumspor, as well as Amedspor and Çorum FK, both making their Trendyol Süper Lig debut.
