Figment 2: Creed Valley takes you into a surreal subconscious where imagination rules. You play as Dusty, the personification of courage, as he battles his way past clouds of gloom, killer plants and nightmares come to life.

What we love: Travelling deeper into the Mind requires a mix of puzzle-solving and knowing when to run and when to fight. Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that light is your number one ally; staying out of the dark is by far the best way to keep safe. Beyond the fear, this game is also a lot of fun. Dusty is accompanied on his adventures by Piper, an eternally optimistic bird sidekick, and their constant chatter makes them an engaging double act. The villains, meanwhile, have a tendency to burst into song before they attack. It’s the stuff dreams are made of.

Quick tip: If your health bar is already full, hold back some Endurance Neurons in case you need to recover after dealing with a threat. While these healing orbs grow on trees, you can’t be sure when you’ll find more.
