Full of mini-games and puzzles created in collaboration with speech therapists, Speech Blubs gives kids an entertaining way to practise new words and sounds. Here are a few of our favourite activities.
Cook up some fun
In a playful virtual kitchen, kids can pretend to be chefs whipping up sweet and savoury dishes from scratch. Touch and hold each ingredient as it’s added to hear the word spoken aloud.
Outta this world ABCs
Say it, trace it and see it in action. In this alphabet game, the activities reinforce learning by having kids sound out and write down letters.
Visit the animal farm
As kids frolic around the farm pronouncing animal names, they can practise sound emphasis (such as elongating the “o” in “cow”). Each exercise is paired with a simple activity, such as tracing a cow from horns to tail.
Kids teaching kids
Children are motivated to repeat sounds when they see other kids leading the way. Learning from a peer makes Speech Blubs feel more like play than practise.
Learn daily life skills
Wash your face. Brush your teeth. Take a bath. Kids practise everyday routines step-by-step, then finish with a celebratory song!
