A great great communication forum where you interact with a lot of people daily many times! It’s open social gathering where you can freely communicate mostly intellectually and share your ideas and feelings! It’s generally free of censorship however at times some Governments do mange to block some video clips! Twitter is fun but it’s also a great educational learning and teaching tool! As a Pathologist we do see images of unusual and some usual diseases! The beauty of Twitter is in its short text; easy to read and write; crisp short, sweet and sour! With pictures, short video clips it’s a Universe in itself where you may reach and touch to almost anyone! It’s crazy, it’s fun and it’s very useful!

RIP Twitter: Welcome Threads

This app, once a favored social media platform under the popular public name of Twitter, unfortunately fell into the hands of an unscrupulous and inept individual, a lackey of a corrupt owner, who has driven it to the brink of decline. Initially, this profit-driven individual imposed restrictions on freedom of expression on this platform, leading to the suspension of numerous accounts, including many like mine, which raised their voices against human rights violations, fascist regimes, and oppressive states worldwide. By doing so, he aimed to safeguard his investments in those countries, a goal achievable only by seeking the favor of tyrannical, despotic, autocratic, and non-democratic regimes, which he did. The voice of truth and justice was silenced. Subsequently, in pursuit of account verification, funds were extorted from users for obtaining a blue tick, and these deplorable actions persist to this day. However, the Threads app has now cleared the air, broken its back and a substantial number of users have migrated to the Threads forum, exhaling the dust of this app's influence.
Content Overload

Recently, Twitter has started to feel a lot like Facebook... the very first reason why I used loved this app was because it only allowed me to follow what those who I followed posted or retweeted— the things that they liked would be shown secondary but still it would be placed way far off at the back and a very VERY LIMITED amount of liked posts would come up on my feed. Now I’m practically forced to see EVERYTHING that the other person has liked! I feel like I’m looking too much into their lives, especially the things they just want to keep private by simply liking a tweet instead of retweeting it. And because their liked content gets on my feed, the app SoMeHoW assumes that I like those things too and keeps suggesting the wrong posts based on my newfound “interest”.Please fix this issue, I really only want to see the things people post or retweet— NOT the things they like.
We made improvements and squashed bugs so X is even better for you.
