I have been using Twitter for a long time now. I love everything about it; how quick you can respond to Tweets, how you can send photos, DM, follow up with the latest news as soon as they are released. Recently I DID have an issue with it. My account got locked because of “suspicious activity” but all I had to do was reset my password: simple, right? However I clicked the link in my emails that sends me to reset my password and all it did was take me back to the page telling me to check my email. I tried multiple ways to fix it. My last hope was contacting Twitter Support. Luckily they responded to my email within 24 hours (the quickest help I’ve gotten from a major app) and they set me up again easy. In conclusion; although there was an issue with my use of the app, Twitter was quick to respond and was efficient. They even replied to my thank-you email with a “You’re welcome! Happy to help!” So in return I am writing this review.I do recommend. Four stars.
I do appreciate x!

Unfortunately I’ve been unable to access my X account because I can’t really afford to upgrade I’ve had a change in employment made redundant actually from a not for profit org so still cannot afford a monthly acc set up I’m doing what I can with crypto to change things but I need to access my X acc or I can’t earn rewards to boost my earnings such a catch 22 perhaps these reasons aren’t good enough I guess it’s nice for some who are able to invest more $$ o make money but for some like me it’s near impossible perhaps X doesn’t really help the lower earning communities there are many out here what could they do to help us?? But I’m not biter & I send much love to X it was nice while it lasted….
Great app but still could be better!!

Twitter really is an amazing platform and something I come to on the daily, updating me with everything I need to know not just in my own country but around the world. Let’s be real though, even though it’s a really good app there are things that could improve. My two main are adding 4K resolution to video uploads and also an editing button to tweets. 1) Many people wish to upload higher quality videos but don’t bother since the video quality is always a downgrade when put on your site. Technology is continuously updating so social media platforms (in my opinion) should also try and do the same. No point having so many 4K videos on your phone but don’t want to share knowing there is no point.2) I don’t see the editing button as a major concern but it can be annoying having a few errors in a tweet and having to delete it (depending on the amount of errors) because you can’t edit the tweet. Obviously there are negatives with this but there should also be a history button alongside, showing a timeline of changes that occurred with the edited tweet. This ensures if any negative tweets have happened (due to editing the tweet) and you’ve interacted then your able to see the timeline, allowing you to make a decision whether to unlike, unshare or even unfollow or block. Again, this is an amazing app that I will continue to use as long as I like but I hope small changes are made and that Twitter becomes a better app to use.
Trust lol
MercurialIntent
In the first line about this app, it states that it’s the trusted global digital town square. That should tell you all about this app and the platform it acts as a front-end for. In actual fact, the majority of people don’t trust X, so stating that it is trusted is a good example of the kind of misinformation that X seems fond of supporting, and engaging in. The line might well be an example of what the creators of X want it to become, but the truth of what it IS is different. For instance, as a general rule, it is now safer to believe that verified accounts are unsafe accounts to interact with. A couple of years ago it was completely different. Now a blue check mark basically says: ‘BEWARE. BEWARE. The person with this checkmark is more likely to be a bot or a malicious user spreading misinformation than a non-verified account.Alongside this is the apparent wish that one doesn’t get to see the people’s tweets whom you follow very often. I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I feel as if I am now more likely to see what people I am connected with post, on Facebook, than on Twitter. It talks about free-speech, yet its algorithms seems determined to keep people with common interests apart. Not to keep one from the echo chamber effect, but to instead fill one’s feed with extremist views from all sides of the political spectrum. I’m a writer. I’m on there because I write. I don’t wish to know that some politician needs to be hung ( a common rallying call from those who prefer extremist positions to unifying). X claim that it is a digital town-hall, but if that’s the case, then they don’t how those things work. I.e. they are generally civilised, and rarely do people call for murders of those who oppose their ideas… instead concentrating on how to solve problems together in a fair manner… again, this is rarely found on Twitter/X. Even from the man who allegedly owns it. Instead, divisiveness is the common language. A wish to bring pain to other humans through one’s words, is what is common on Twitter. If X/Twitter is our town-hall, then we as a species are royally screwed.
We made improvements and squashed bugs so X is even better for you.
