I believe there is no point in having a good application running if the delivery and customer service are both going to be a let down. I was supposed to get my order the day before yesterday, as per the date assigned for my delivery, yet the delivery executive decided it would be a great idea to deliver my order 4 days before this, without any prior notifications provided to me. I made it clear that I was not available, and was told that the delivery would be attempted again in half an hour, for which I rushed home, just for no one to show up at my door again for the next 5 days. When the day for the delivery mentioned in the app came though, I decided to call the customer service, only for them to reply in an analogous way every single time, asking me to wait till 9pm each day for the delivery to come, and that the delivery timings extend from 9am to 9 pm. Well, I had to go through this for 3 days in a row, and eventually I ended up calling the delivery executive after 3 days of delay at around 4 pm only for him to tell me he does not deliver after 2pm, while he, for a fact, came at my doorstep the very first day around 4pm. Why did he not deliver the order in the past 5 days, I still have no idea. Again on calling the customer service, and explaining the situation to them, they ONCE AGAIN told me to wait till 9pm. Well, I did wait, and since their so called ‘customer service’ closes at 9pm, guess who was left stranded again. I will now be leaving for my trip tomorrow, for which I made an order of items I will need for the trip, which were not delivered to me till the end. I believed my order would be delivered, so I didn’t order anywhere else, and now I am stuck with my money gone. If the delivery executive does come tomorrow, he can have fun trying to deliver the package to the street dogs, because I won’t be there :) Guess who will never be ordering from Ikea again?
