The official app for learning to code with Sphero robots.
Sphero Edu is your hub to create, contribute, and learn with Sphero robots. Go beyond code by incorporating unique STEAM lessons to complete with your bot.
Designed for learner progression, Sphero Edu beginners can give robots commands by drawing a path in the app for their robot to follow. Intermediate coders can use Scratch blocks to learn more advanced logic, while pros can use text programming and write their own JavaScript or Python code.
Sphero Edu is built for makers, learners, educators, and parents. The interactive platform allows you to keep track of your class or group from one easy place. Anyone can save their progress, jump from device to device, and continue the discovery from anywhere. Preparing for the future has never been so fun.

Not good , our family has got the bb-8 and 9. Today I decided to play with them because I was bored , bearing in mind when my friends came over we’d always play with them , as now I decided to , the app is no longer on the App Store and I’m not doing coding to use my droid , and they aren’t even compatible which makes is ten times worse , it’s just lazy at the fact people have had so much fun with these are they decided to take it off , horrible, now they are just for decoration which is nice but , I really wanted to use them but now I can’t.
All great till they get bored

These app based things are great till the company gets bored, I’ve got all their Star Wars droids, all great, till this lot got bored and now the apps are dead or dying as they can’t be bothered to support them anymore… this app can be made to support basic functions but for how long. This lot have convinced me that app based games, toys, kits, and everything else app based are finite…I can still use all my old board games… app based stuff proves to be a con… we have been fooled…
Does still work with BB8

Needs to connect using the ‘show other robots button’ at the bottom. Kudos to these guys for continuing to support what is arguably Disney’s responsibility.
