Had again the worst experience with Uber. Hadn’t used them for a while but since they sent me a 15% discount I decided to give them a try, even though a ride with Bolt cost me 10 cents more. I ordered a car and it showed it’ll come in 4 minutes. After waiting for about 5 minutes and seeing the driver hasn’t moved a bit I decided to give him a call. He didn’t pick up. I waited another couple of minutes but he still hadn’t moved and I tried to call again, nothing. Then decided to write to his chat. After a couple of minutes he answered that he is waiting for a client who went to the atm to take cash. I wanted to cancel right away but since Uber is known to charge when canceling and my last experience with their support was rather tiring I decided not to. But when I saw that the car finally started to move but went to completely other way (not moving towards me) I still decided to cancel. So in the end I waited more than 20 minutes (instead of 4), still had to cancel and take another company’s car.

Uber is stealing my money. All “temporary holds” they have ever placed on my card as “security feature” and which are marked as being released one hour after being placed - ended up being charged from my card. Over 400 euros in total. Getting this money back has deemed a complete hell because their customer service is entirely AI masked as humans and it functions as answering machine giving entirely useless answers, so if you have an actual issue, you will not find help. To see this charges in the app go to: help>account>different payment issue. Look them up in your bank and make sure these holds have been actually released, which might not be the case. UBER IS STEALING YOUR MONEY - DO NOT USE YOUR CARD AS A PAYMENT METHOD!

Very dangereus app! Specially when you are traveling in unsecure Western Europe. I took uber taxi twice in Paris and next day money from my bank account started to disappear. Somebody bought something in Canada, somebody in Africa, somebody paid his uber trip from my account. I know for sure that it was because of uber, I used my bank card data only for uber. Luckily I reacted quickly and my bank returned this money back. I wrote to uber about it but they did not take responsability for that leak of my account. They just said childish things, maybe they are involved. So, if you really want to drive with uber pay only with cash when its possible!

Our Uber driver repeatedly missed turns (seemingly on purpose to increase the fare), drove dangerously — speeding, distracted by his phone, and even into oncoming traffic — and caused us to miss our bus, losing €66 in tickets.We reported this immediately to Uber, expecting at least a refund and fair treatment. Instead, support refused to take responsibility and denied our request, even though this was clearly the driver’s fault and an unsafe situation.This experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and costly. If Uber cannot ensure basic safety and accountability, I cannot recommend using this service.
