I’ve been using the Portal app for only two days, and I already know that the annual subscription will be worth it. What do I enjoy? The fact that there are portals prepared for every time of day, from dawn to night. My issue with various backgrounds has always been related to my biorhythm. With Portal, the background doesn’t distract me; instead, it reminds me that it’s still morning or already evening.What would make me really happy? If I could set up something like a scenario, so the portals switch automatically based on the time of day. Or if there were a prepared scenery captured at different times, creating a seamless day-to-night scene (dawn, early morning, late morning, noon, early afternoon, late afternoon or evening, sunset, and night).

In fact, there are persuasive theories that from an evolutionary perspective, our minds and bodies are hardwired to respond to natural stimuli in this way. And so, as our modern lives have led to us becoming increasing separated and disconnected from nature...we see Portal as an opportunity not to replace the real thing, but to weave a little of nature's magic back into our indoor lives by delivering highly immersive and realistic experiences that make us genuinely feel immersed in some of the most beautiful and peaceful natural surroundings in the world!With regards to the playlist feature, this is something that we are very very keen on introducing and, what's more, there's lots of research that shows how syncing virtual experiences of nature with your circadian rhythm is hugely beneficial for your mood, energy, productivity and creativity - so we are also planning to incorporate the latest research in helping us create a feature that selects and rotates portals throughout the day to match your own local 'outdoor' conditions! From the start I noticed the app is paid and I was skeptical. I expected some extreme price, but I have to say, the yearly subscription is actually quite reasonable. Monthly price is extreme same as lifetime price (so much for wallpapers and sounds is outrageous even if the app is nicely done and wallpapers and sounds are quality). But the yearly subscription is actually reasonably priced and is of small amount of subscriptions which I am willing to pay
