I’ve used Lumafushion for more than 3 years now and I can easily say just how much of a great app this is. For me it’s super convenient and easy to learn. As of right now I’ve updated my OS to the latest version and suddenly the app has become buggy and unmanageable. I’m not sure if my OS has something to do with the app behaving this way, but seriously I hope an update fixes it. I’ve been having issues with playback errors and having to adjust it to a balanced play back - however even this does not fix it. I’ve also had audio issues, where playing the audio will result in multiple audios playing at the same (while on the same layer - there’s no audio overlapping each other) I’ve tried countless fixes, such as clearing cached media or restarting my iPad. None to work, I could uninstall luma but I don’t want to risk losing all my projects. If an update could somehow fix these bugs it would be a blessing as I could finally work in peace without the need of having to constantly deal with playback errors and annoying audios playing at the same time. Aside from these bugs however, this app is still a solid five to me. I just hope these bugs do get fixed.

I love LumaFusion. I have been using it pretty much since it’s inception. I have learnt and grown with the software as it has developed. Of course nothing is perfect and there are features that I would love to have editing wise. Such as masking and blending modes and a few more audio options. But these are all features that most creators can live without. All in all great video editing software for any iPad, not just the Pro. However there is 1 major bug that is annoying me. Now I don’t know if it’s just my camera reading to the card wrong or the LumaFusion not reading the data correctly. But sometimes after importing my media, the audio waveforms don’t appear on the clip that is in the timeline. This isn’t a consistent issue either. Sometimes the waveform is there. Sometimes it’s not. Now it is possible that it is my camera reading to the card since other cameras I have don’t really have the issue; but at the same time, it could be something worth looking into. Other than that a great product well worth the price.

I’ve been using LumaFusion for years and it has always been a great editing app a step up from iMovie and other free alternatives. But there is one bug that has popped up in the past year or so that makes editing with LumaFusion almost impossible. To be able to make cuts based on the audio waves (where there are breaks, etc), makes editing super speedy. But what started as an occasional bug is now in every project, where the audio waves show up at first, but any time you split a clip, they vanish and you either have to restart the app 3-5 times (I’ve even tried deleting and reinstalling, clearing the cache, etc and it makes no difference) to get the audio waves back. OR you have to wait sometimes 10 minutes every cut for it to show up again. In the past 3 hours I’ve edited about 3 minutes of a 1 hour video. It is infuriating and is making it just about impossible to use this app that generally is very user friendly and easy for editing. Doing a search (and even in the reviews here) I can see this is a known bug, one that many people experience, and no fix in sight for it which is very disappointing.
