Great shows but I find the following aspects incredibly frustrating:1) The quantity of advertisement breaks 5-6 per episode is way too much and incredibly irritating. To the point where I’ll often give up watching and go to a screening service no matter how much I’m enjoying the program.2) The repitition of the same adverts over and over again every add break nearly drives you insane3) Trying to repeat an episode in a series you’ve already watched is extremely difficult to do. The episode stayed cued at the very last second of the episode and you have to try to catch the slide bar within 1 second in order to drag it back to the beginning in order to re-start the episode. This usually takes me at least 5-6 attempts as there is only about 1-2 seconds at the end of the episode to grab the slider and drag it back to the beginning of said episode before it automatically rolls into the next episode!! This is truly infuriating.4) it would be great if there was a section which held programs you are currently watching on the Home Screen.

This app gives a truly awful user experience which, for an app where almost its entire purpose is UX, is almost unbelievable. As someone with about 15 different streaming apps I’m pretty familiar with the ins and outs of getting them to work across different devices, but this one takes the cake. Review applies to the iPhone app as well as my TV app. Glitchy, slow, difficult scrolling, poor visual design, you name it and this app can stuff it up. It’s extra surprising because 9 has an opportunity to grab a huge viewer base that might not normally be interested, if only they got this working in time for the Olympics. Picture in Picture, this simply doesn’t work. If I even want to check other options within the app this stops, including wile using airplay. Did I mention airplay? Sure, this works, until you touch the lead device. As soon as an ad plays don’t expect the sound to return without turning everything off and on again. Also expect to turn it off and on every 20-30 minutes because it just dies. Casting, all devices on the same network and permissions enabled, “no devices available”. Trying to watch one Olympics channel and see what other sports are playing at the same time? Good luck. Speed, expect a several second wait between every command you try on the tv app. Scrolling to the next item, wait; playing an item, wait 3x as long; missed something and you need to go back 10s, wait 20 and then find yourself a minute past or before where you wanted to be. Did you want to know what time an event starts? That’s easy, just scroll to the item you’re thinking of, go into it, wait for the extra long loading screen, see that it’s “upcoming”, give up at this stage because you don’t have the resilience to do that 30 times. Will I delete this as soon as the Olympics is finished? You betcha!Update, I found out they’re not the only one showing the Olympics. Time to delete!!

Not happy when football like state of origin is on game goes for 80mins and 10 mins halftime that makes 90mins total then why is it that there are over 40mins of ads and morons trying to sell you something not only do we have to put up with 1500 calls per week from those stupid telemarketers but we also have to sit through over 40 minutes of ads doesn’t matter what ever the show is movie or anything else the morons you have in charge of programming should step back and have a look at just how much time they’re wasting of everyone’s life and the reason why there’s so much violence in the world is because you have 40 minutes of ads for every show you put on show goes for 30 minutes you have 40 minutes worth of ads and you wonder why people are getting assaulted in the street after we’ve had to put up with 1500 calls a week from telemarketers and then sit through basically forced to have 12.5 hrs of every 24hrs wasted by some idiot in an ad trying to sell me something again.... programming losers big time
